Barberitos Founder to Give Talk on Macon Campus in October

Downing BarberMACON – Downing Barber, an MBA graduate of the Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics and founder of the national restaurant franchise chain Barberitos, will visit Mercer’s Macon campus on Oct. 14 to share his personal success story. The event will take place in Stetson Room 251 at 10 a.m.

Barberitos currently has more than 40 franchise locations in five states generating over $40 million in revenue and growing.

“I believe that Downing Barber’s story is a celebration of what being an entrepreneur is really about,” said Dr. Susan P. Gilbert, dean of the Stetson School of Business and Economics.

“If you want to know what it takes and what the rewards of entrepreneurship really are, plan to attend the special event. All members of the Mercer community are welcome.”
