Tutterow to Speak at Atlanta Executive Forum

ATLANTA — Economist Roger C. Tutterow, Ph.D., will kick off the 2005-2006 speaker series of The Executive Forum with a presentation about the nation’s economy on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at noon at The Ritz-Carlton – Buckhead, 3434 Peachtree Road. The lunch presentation is sponsored by Troutman-Sanders Public Affairs Group.

Recognized as one of the nation’s foremost economic experts, Tutterow is dean of Mercer University’s Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics and holds the James D. Stetson Chair in Economics. His analysis of economic, business and political environments have been used by a variety of national and regional media, including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The New York Times, CNN, CNBC, NPR, Bloomberg Television and CNN-Radio.

A member of the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors since 2003, Tutterow has served as a consultant for corporate clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to closely-held businesses. He has provided expert testimony on economic, financial and statistical matters in state and federal courts and before the Georgia Public Service Corporation.

Tutterow holds a B.S. in decision science from Berry College and a M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from Georgia State University
