ATLANTA — The president of the Ayn Rand Institute, Dr. Yaron Brook, will deliver a lecture at Mercer University on Monday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. The lecture, titled “Capitalism without Guilt: The Moral Case for Freedom,” is free and open to the public and will be held in the University’s Atlanta Administration and Conference Center, 2930 Flowers Road South.

The lecture will focus on the latest backlash against government entitlements and bailouts, and
Dr. Brook will offer his assessment of the movement’s potential to stem the tide. He will offer his view of why government intervention grows and how it can be stopped. Dr. Brook will argue that to successfully stop the growth of the state Americans will have to discover that laissez-faire capitalism is the only moral system.

Dr. Brook leads the institute as president and executive director and is a prominent advocate for objectivism, the philosophy of novelist Ayn Rand. He is a frequent guest on a variety of radio and TV shows, having appeared on Fox Business News, Fox News, CNN, CNBC and C-SPAN.
