GEICO Joins Mercer University’s Preferred Provider Program

MACON – GEICO is the latest company to join Mercer University's Preferred Provider Program, which offers affordable opportunities for employees of partner companies to attend an approved degree program of study at the University.

The program delivers a number of benefits to employers and their employees, ranging from a 10-percent benefit toward tuition, waived application fees, a streamlined admissions process, transfer credit policy and military benefits.

Degree programs approved for GEICO employees are offered in both Penfield College of Mercer University and the Stetson School of Business and Economics. They include the B.A. in Communication, B.A.S. in Human Resources Administration and Development, B.S. in Informatics, B.A.S. in Organizational Leadership and M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Penfield College, as well as the Evening B.B.A., Evening M.B.A., Online M.B.A., Professional M.B.A., Executive M.B.A, Master of Accountancy and Master of Science in Business Analytics from the Stetson School.

Other corporations, government agencies and organizations currently partnering with Mercer in the Preferred Provider Program include the Bibb County Sheriff's Department, Douglas County Sheriff's Department, Georgia Department of Corrections, GreyStone Corporation, Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, Gwinnett Police Department, Memorial University Medical Center, Piedmont Healthcare, Robins Air Force Base and WellStar Health System.

Programs are offered at Mercer's campuses in Macon, Atlanta and Savannah, as well as four regional academic centers in Coweta County, Dodge County, Douglas County and Henry County.
