WARNER ROBINS – Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC) engineers Peter Bryant and Steven Boswell will be among the presenters during The Association of Old Crows (AOC) 39th annual Dixie Crow Symposium at the Robins Air Force Base Museum of Aviation, March 23-27.

The theme of this year's symposium is “21st Century Mission Success Through Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Legacy Electronic Warfare (EW) Integration.”

The AOC is a not-for-profit international professional association focused on the science and practice of Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Operations (IO) and related disciplines.

The association's annual symposium is one of the largest regional aviation electronic defense trade shows in the country. This year, over 50 defense industry vendors will showcase their high technology capabilities.

The Dixie Crows also plan to introduce the inaugural year of “The Crow's N.E.S.T. (Novel Experiments with Science and Technology)” on March 26, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. This event is designed to provide interactive experiences through robotics displays and technology demonstrations that will inspire students to pursue careers in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines.

Mercer University School of Engineering students, under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Choi, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, will also have some of their robotics projects on display.
