Mercer Law Class of 2022

On August 6, Mercer Law School welcomed 138 members into the Class of 2022. Four students are legacies, having a family member that is a graduate of Mercer Law School. They came from 48 undergraduate institutions and represent 36 undergraduate majors. The students are from 11 different states, ranging heavily from Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina.

The students worked in many different fields including being the president and founder of the Jon Jones Foundation, a project engineer, congressional interns, a writing consultant and working for a Korean radio station. Additionally, three members of the class have served in the military, each in a different branch including the Army, Navy and Air Force. Our new students range in age from 19 to 47, with an average age of 24. Many of the students have volunteered with different philanthropic and non-profit organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life and the Peace Corps and one is an Eagle Scout. They have held leadership roles in their undergrad institutions, including being student ambassadors, representatives in student government, varsity athletes and founders of diverse student organizations.
